Summer Practice Challenge
How It Works:
Step One: Practice! Practice playing your instrument, reading music, and working on your music theory. Are you performing during the practice challenge? The time you spend onstage counts too! The Practice Challenge starts on July 1st and ends on July 31st.
Step Two: Track your hours! Use the sheet below to track the time you spend practicing; each eighth note on the practice sheet represents 20 minutes. Print the sheet and fill in the eighth notes to keep track of your practice all month long!
Step Three: Claim your prize! After you reach 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours of practice you can redeem your practice sheet for a prize. Prizes can be claimed August 1st-7th at Prelude Academy of the Arts. The practice challenge is open to Prelude Academy students of all ages and levels!
Rules:
You must practice! Be sure to track your practice time carefully in order to claim your prize.
Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian verify their practice hours by signing the bottom of the sheet.
You must be a student of Prelude Academy to claim your prize.
You must complete the challenge before July 31st.
You must redeem your practice sheet by August 7th.
