Prelude Academy of the Arts is excited to offer three weeks of music education and summer fun!
























Week 1
Ages 4-5 | June 30th - July 3rd | 9:00am-11:00am
Registration Fee: $10 | Total Price: $90
Musikgarten and Puppetry
Join Musikgarten certified instructor Charlotte Lewis for 4 days of music from around the world! Students will enjoy singing, dancing, instruments, and puppetry and conclude their camp with a performance at Prelude Academy.
Week 2
Ages 6-12 | July 7th-11th | 8:00am-12:00pm
Registration Fee: $20 | Total Price: $195
Ukulele, Keyboard, and Drums/Percussion
Enjoy an exciting week of music making! Students can choose a primary instrument (ukulele, keyboard, or percussion) and enjoy classes in Orff, choir, puppetry, and ensemble! This camp will conclude with a performance and art show.

NEW! Beginner Violin Camp
Ages 4-6 | July 7th - 11th | 5:30-7:00pm
Registration Fee: $20 | Total Price: $150
This introduction to the violin will inspire you and your child with music from around the world! Learn the foundational elements of the violin in this group class for ages 4-6. Instruments will be provided, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to ensure a quality experience.

Ages 6-10 | July 14th - 18th | 8:00am-12:00pm

Ages 10-16 | July 14th - 18th | 8:00am-4:00pm
Registration Fee: $20 | Total Price: $275
String Orchestra and Chamber Music: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Piano
This week of camp is for students who play orchestral string instruments and advanced pianists interested in chamber music. This camp will feature classes in chamber music, string orchestra, Orff, chorus, and art. Camp will conclude with a performance and art show.
*Space for pianists is limited
Summer Camp Scholarships
Prelude Academy of the Arts, local businesses, and generous individuals work together every year to offer scholarships for summer camp students. All scholarship applicants must submit an essay explaining why they would like to attend summer camp. Alternatively, applicants can submit a two minute video and email it to preludeartsacademy@gmail.com.

The Musikgarten
Need-Based Scholarship
Prelude Academy would like to thank the anonymous donor who is providing the funds for this need-based scholarship. This scholarship will cover tuition and registration fees for a student of the Week 1 Musikgarten and Puppetry camp. The parent/legal guardian is welcome to write the application essay on behalf of the student.

The Prelude Academy
Talent-Based Scholarship
Prelude Academy of the Arts awards a talent-based scholarship to a dedicated and hard-working student from Pasco County each year. Applicants that are not currently students of Prelude Academy can include a video playing their primary instrument, OR a letter of recommendation in addition to their essay. This scholarship covers all tuition and registration fees for Week 2 OR Week 3 half-day students.

The Jhamaal Sykes
Violin Scholarship
The Jhamaal Sykes scholarship is for a violin student attending the Week 3 chamber music camp. This scholarship covers all tuition and registration fees for a full-day student. Prelude Academy would like to thank violinist Jhamaal and his partner Quiyu for their dedication to the arts and for creating opportunities for young musicians.
